I was a weird nerd growing up (and still am). As a result of this and having my young adulthood in the shadow of the Global War on Terror™, I became unhealthily obsessed with geopolitics (and still am).

You can probably see unsubtle hints of it in many of my labels.

A while ago I applied these ideas to the scifi concept of exopolitics, the concept of how politics would happen on an interplanetary scale, with alien cultures that we cannot comprehend.

We would engage as we do now, with realpolitik and megalomaniacal intelligence agencies, proxy wars and state sponsored terrorism. I don’t think we’d have a choice.

The beer itself presented differently from how I wrote it. The high sulphate and solid IBU backing didn’t manage to get over the ABV. That yeast is a fucking work horse, it just kept on chugging.

The result is far more balanced beer than I had ever intended. Its kinda dangerous.
