tiny batches
limited runs
massive beers
a 200L nanobrewery dedicated to making unique, experimental and intensely flavoured beer.
let’s get weird.
In the industrial suburbs south of Perth, just outside of Fremantle, Australia’s smallest brewery makes stupidly big beers.
Evil Mega Corporation is all about making beers that aren’t pragmatic or commercially viable enough to make at a “proper” production brewery. Making 200L of anything isn’t viable, so once one has dispensed of the idea of making a profit, anything becomes possible.
Based on a subscription model, this project is dedicated to brewing things that are aggressive, unctuous, structured, opulent, acerbic, fruity.
Each mixed 4-pack you receive will be an array of different styles and profiles. Each batch will be different, but every beer will be BIG.
Subscribe today, and in a little while 4 new beers will arrive on your doorstep, with 4 more coming every 6 weeks for as long as you choose to remain subscribed. One-off brews, never to be repeated.
If you find one you particularly like, whatever is surplus to the initial subscriber run will be dropped in the online store until they are all snapped up.
Currently scheduled to start sending out again in April.
Think high ABV.
The kind of ABV you probably should share with a friend, but I’m not your mum. Do whatever you like.
Think west coast IIIPAs, bourbon barrel bullshit, and offensively un-traditional interpretations of obscure European styles. Beers inspired by tropical cocktails and obscure spices and aged on Amazonian wood. Beers using whatever cutting-edge hop powder or CO2 extract or resin sludge they come out with next.
Unashamedly hype.
Beers that are experiences. Beers for those addicted to novelty.
Beers for people who want to one-up that mate who always brings over the rare imports.
Beers for people that are sick of the mainstream and want to try something different.
Beers for backyard brewers who want something to inspire their own mad creativity.
Hell, even the ratings-guy box-checkers. I’m not too proud to take your money.
Nobody else is making, or selling, beer like this.
There is a good reason for that.
But EMC is about making beer, not money.
But it’s not just the beer you drink.
Each can has a QR code to access the basic recipe and any general notes on what I was trying to do.
If you want to make it at home, or use it as a base for your own thing, hit me up for advice if you like.
I’ve got nothing better to do.
And beyond…
I’m just one guy, but I have a few other ideas that have been percolating. Originally I had planned for a mixed-ferment program, which I have not quite given up on.
This part was actually the genesis of the whole project, but it is also the most time intensive. With your help, the future is looking delicious.
I also have a still now, so that might get a run when I get around to it. After that? Hot sauce? Perfume? Low intervention wine?
All things are possible.
Evil Mega Corporation will never sell or give your information to a third party. Nobody should do that. It is a shitty thing to do.
