I’ve been working on my basic hazy recipe and I feel like I’m getting closer to the one that exists in my dreams.

Thick, persistent haze, a soft, pillowy mouthfeel, and a bunch of fruit. Last year I spoke about a winter version of a hazy - with a solid dose of golden naked oats. That tends to make the beer a bit of a burnt orange, which gets worse over time. I’m not in love with the colour if I’m honest, so this is an attempt to mitigate that with half the base malt replaced by Weyermann Extra Pils for a lift.

The guava terps also give a solid backing to the stonefruit derived from the Verdant IPA combined with Nectaron and new favourite Krush.

Enjoy.
