This beer idea came to me when Israel and Trump were trying to provoke a war with Iran, and it took me back to my teenage years of phony weapons of mass distruction in Iraq. I originally wanted to call it Yellowcake Uranium in Aluminium Tubes. While that joke would have been funny to approximately 1% of the audience, what stopped me was the apparent absent mindedness of the leader of the free world who promptly forgot about it a week later.

Good, I guess?

Instead, I named it after something that I can relate to. The Lotus Eaters, who abandon all aspects of life beyond the pursuit of flavour and indulgence.
